The Vision
The client approached us with a heartfelt request: to repurpose her mother’s saree into an outfit that honored its sentimental value while giving it a fresh, wearable look. After discussing the design, we presented her with a detailed sketch, giving her a clear picture of how the final Anarkali shalwar would look.
The Design
The upcycled Anarkali shalwar was a masterpiece of craftsmanship:
🌸 Flowing Silhouette: The Anarkali style added an ethereal grace, perfectly complementing the saree’s original fabric.
🌸 Waist Belt: A beautifully tailored waist belt gave structure and definition to the outfit.
🌸 Net Shawl: A soft net shawl with intricate border detailing was added to enhance the ensemble’s elegance.
